Toushu no Jouken (Pitcher Conditions)
Summary
The first part of this episode is pretty much fast-forwarded - nothing particularly groundbreaking happens; neither team manages to score any more points. Abe notices that Mihoshi is starting to play seriously. Mihashi's feelings for Mihoshi are getting all mixed up!
Mihoshi has a talk with their makeshift coachy person. Kano explains some of Mihashi's awesomeness, and the coachish guy gets an IDEA!
Yoshi's turn to bat! He swings and hits the ball, and Mizutani fails at catching it, enabling Yoshi to get on base! Oda's coming up next. Mr. Coach Person's idea was to have Oda close his eyes in order to somehow get a better idea of what's going on. Oda follows the advice, and sends Yoshi right back home! Mihoshi gets a point! Mihashi, however, somehow KNEW that the ball Abe wanted him to throw would get hit, but he threw it anyway because he didn't want Abe to hate him.
And now it's Hatake's turn! He just so happens to notice a habit in Mihashi's pitching, allowing him to predict the kind of pitch Mihashi throws, resulting in a... gasp, a homerun! Mihashi and Abe are both shocked, but more than willing to continue.
